A Soft Approach to Healing — Clinic Interior Design
Project: Zhe-Jia Clinic, Changhua County
This project focuses on the interior planning of Zhe-Jia Clinic, a local medical facility specializing in diabetes care, thyroid treatment, and chronic disease management. With a core patient base of middle-aged and elderly individuals, the client hoped to create a space that would ease anxiety, promote comfort, and support peace of mind throughout the medical experience.
To bring this vision to life, we incorporated curved forms and rounded edges throughout the layout, softening the overall flow and enhancing spatial continuity. These design gestures not only add aesthetic elegance, but also help establish a gentle and reassuring atmosphere.
We employed indirect lighting to deliver a warm glow that wraps around the space, reducing visual tension and helping patients feel at ease the moment they step inside.
The clinic is housed within a narrow, multi-story townhouse, a structure that subtly tilts leftward. Though this imbalance is not immediately visible in photos, it posed a unique spatial challenge. Our solution: we introduced a series of curved partition walls that guide the eye smoothly through the space, minimizing any perception of structural tilt and restoring a sense of balance and calm.
At the storefront, we added green plants and a framed window feature on the left. This clever composition lightens the mood, counters the narrowness of the building, and adds a refreshing visual focal point. With carefully positioned lighting, the window becomes a living picture — a small landscape that offers serenity to waiting patients and draws the eye of passersby.
Through this project, Woosha Design harmonized the technical needs of a medical space with a sense of wellbeing and tranquility, delivering an environment where patients feel truly cared for — mind, body, and soul.
