A Bold Flame in the City — Japanese Yakiniku Restaurant Design
Project: Home Yakiniku | Location: Fengjia, Taichung
Nestled in the heart of Fengjia Commercial District, this Japanese Yakiniku restaurant is surrounded by top-tier eateries. To stand out amidst the competition, the facade was designed to make a statement — an unapologetic splash of red, flanked by oversized lanterns, capturing the attention of passersby and weaving a glowing scarlet thread into the fabric of the city.
Passing through a crimson-hued corridor, guests are transported into a world where colors dance like brushstrokes in a floating ukiyo-e. Inside, a visual symphony unfolds — waves of red and blue form a poetic landscape, a modern homage to classic Japanese art. Inspired by the brand essence of Home Yakiniku, this space evokes not only the warmth of the sun and the rhythm of the sea, but also the heart of the dining experience — savoring flavor as if stepping into a painting.
Long wooden light fixtures stretch like picture frames, extending the perspective and enveloping diners in a canvas of warmth. Marble-patterned light boxes glow with quiet elegance, while the wooden menu plaques and soft-red maple leaves bring a sense of emotional depth, blending festive energy with romance.
This is more than just a restaurant — it’s a space where taste meets storytelling, and where every design element expresses the soul of the brand. Through immersive spatial narratives, Woosha Design turns a dining room into a memorable, sensory artwork.
