Pinnada– A Fresh Take on Tradition
Cingcing Store, Kaohsiung | Designed by Woosha Design
The story of Pin Tian Tonkatsu began with a journey to Japan,
and for over a decade, its visual identity has been defined by a warm-toned, dark-wood interpretation of Japanese aesthetics.
For the new Cingcing store in Kaohsiung,
the goal was to break away from that traditional palette,
and bring a brighter, more refreshing tone to the brand experience.
Color Play, Flow, and Form
Situated on Chengqing Road next to Baoye Flood Detention Park,
the site is a narrow, elongated space.
To balance maximum seating with spatial personality,
we introduced bold color-blocking techniques to visually divide and energize the interior.
A Soft, Scenic Japanese Mood
We used light wood tones and green textured paint to evoke a clean, modern Japanese ambiance.
The brand’s signature mountain motif was reinterpreted as layered wall installations,
enhanced with lighting to create a flowing mountain range effect —
inviting guests to feel as if they are dining with a view of tranquil green peaks.
