SEI TAI   

This project combines the traditional Japanese style with modern architectural frameworks, using elements such as bamboo, stone, paper, and wood to create a harmonious and relaxing atmosphere.

The interior features intricate wooden carvings and integrates Japanese "family crest" culture, highlighting the space’s depth and connection to tradition.

​

Rather than using excessive partitions, the design employs flexible bamboo blinds as visual separators, creating a subtle and layered effect.

​

Tea ceremony, an essential part of Japanese culture and a symbol of Japanese lifestyle philosophy, is woven into the design with dedicated tea-drinking spaces on each floor.

​

The entrance and outdoor areas use natural wood elements to enhance the Japanese ambiance, complemented by dry landscaping and stone lanterns, guiding us into a tranquil sanctuary for both the mind and body.
