Woosha Design Creates Exclusive Corporate Offices for International Brands
SOLVAY Taichung Office Design Case Study|Woosha Design’s Expertise in International Brand Commercial Spaces
This project was an opportunity for Woosha Design to plan a brand-new office in Taichung for SOLVAY, a leading name in the global chemical industry. For us, it was more than just a space design—it was a challenge to transform an international brand’s spirit into a tangible and functional workplace.
Starting from the Brand Spirit
In our discussions with the client, we envisioned a new office that would embody SOLVAY’s core values—technology, innovation, and sustainability. We began with the brand’s signature blue, extending it into the main color palette, and paired it with carefully chosen lighting and materials, making the space instantly recognizable while expressing the brand’s forward-looking vision.
First Impressions at the Reception
We have always believed that the reception area is the face of a company. For this project, we designed a curved reception counter accented with blue illuminated panels and a three-dimensional logo feature wall. This design ensures that visitors immediately feel the professionalism and global stature of the company upon entering. The vertical lines and indirect lighting on the feature wall add depth to the space and subtly echo the brand’s attention to technological detail.
Flow and Open Layout
When planning the office floor layout, we wanted employees to move naturally and smoothly through the space. Rounded walls and curved corners were used to create a gentle flow. The open-plan work area, combined with transparent glass meeting rooms, encourages collaboration while maintaining the right level of privacy.
Color and Atmosphere
In addition to the brand blue, we introduced light wood tones, white surfaces, and accents of orange and green. These colors balance professionalism with vibrancy, helping employees remain focused and energized during long hours at work.
The Warmth of Breakout Spaces
We believe that informal interaction among employees is equally important. That’s why in the pantry and lounge areas, we used a warm wooden bar counter, soft lighting, and seating of various heights to create a relaxed environment where conversations can flow naturally and ideas can emerge organically.
Woosha Design’s Commitment
Our years of experience in commercial office design have taught us that an international brand’s workplace must be more than visually appealing—it must also be highly functional. From spatial circulation and visual identity to employee experience, our aim is always precision and excellence. Creating yet another workspace that aligns perfectly with a global brand’s culture and needs remains a source of pride for the Woosha Design team.
