By manipulating the circulation within the space, we created distinct zones that offer visitors a unique dining experience.
The building’s exterior, painted in soft goose yellow, is complemented by light wood framing and white lattice elements to evoke the nostalgic charm of an old structure, while naturally guiding visitors to the main entrance.
The white latticework at the upper left corner plays a secondary role over time—sometimes serving as a screen for the harsh western sun, and eventually becoming a trellis for climbing plants. At night, lighting is intentionally directed away from the façade, allowing the glow from each window to highlight the beauty within.
The design retains the original look of the old building, dividing the space both visually and conceptually. The brand’s signature green is used as a thread to unify elements and connect the interior.
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a central feature composed of raw materials. The bar counter, in a predominantly white space, stands out through the use of light wood tones and terrazzo finishes. Variations in flooring and the interplay of vertical surfaces help define the functional boundaries of each area.
The staircase to the second floor was purposefully designed with a winding path, creating both a visual shift and an emotional transition. This spatial layering brings out a sense of nostalgia and gently leads visitors from the present into a reinterpretation of the past.
